Project Management

For projects you manage on an owner’s behalf

Project Management covers the case where the project is not yours: you have been engaged to run it. It holds the enrolment, the management contract and the fee terms, then charges on a cycle — and because the fee is charged rather than assumed, it settles through the ledger like any other revenue.

The flow

How the work runs

  1. EnrolRegister the project you have been engaged to manage.
  2. ContractRecord the management contract and its fee terms.
  3. CycleA charging cycle produces the period’s management charge.
  4. PostThe charge reaches the ledger.
  5. SettleSettlement clears it against what was actually received.

What it does

Project Management capabilities

Everything below is implemented and running. Nothing here is planned.

Managed projects

The enrolment that records a project you run for an owner, distinct from a project you own.

Management contracts

The commercial agreement behind the mandate — scope, term and the fee basis it charges on.

Charging cycles

Cycles produce the management charge on schedule rather than by reminder, against the contract that governs it.

Its own licence

Project Management is a licensable module in its own right, precisely so a construction licence never decides whether you may charge a management fee on a sales or rental mandate.

Accounting

How it reaches the ledger

Documents post through governed adapters — no export, no re-keying, and a closed accounting period refuses the posting.

  • PM charge — the management charge posted as revenue
  • PM charge settlement — clearing the charge against receipts
