HR & Payroll

Payroll that ends in the ledger, on the project that paid for it

HR & Payroll runs the employee record, attendance, leave and the payroll cycle itself. The run produces a payslip and a posting: account mappings send the cost to the ledger, and settlement records what was actually paid. Statutory rules are effective-dated, so a rate change is a new version rather than an edit.

What it does

HR & Payroll capabilities

Everything below is implemented and running. Nothing here is planned.

Employees and structure

Employee records with departments, designations and compensation.

Attendance

Attendance from device imports, holiday and rest-day calendars, and manual correction — classified consistently across all three sources.

Leave

Leave types, balances and requests, so leave affects attendance and payroll rather than sitting in a separate sheet.

Payroll setup and pay components

Calendars, periods and the earning and deduction components a payslip is built from.

Statutory payroll

Effective-dated statutory rule sets with a draft → approved → retired lifecycle, so a rate change is versioned and historical runs stay correct.

Runs, payments and reconciliation

A run produces the period’s payroll; payments settle it; a reconciliation view proves the two agree.

Account mappings

Payroll account mappings decide where the cost lands in the chart of accounts — configuration, not a hard-coded assumption.

Accounting

How it reaches the ledger

Documents post through governed adapters — no export, no re-keying, and a closed accounting period refuses the posting.

  • Payroll — the run posted as cost and liability
  • Payroll settlement — the payment that clears it
